1 — What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, mobile) when visiting a website. It allows the site to remember information about your browsing in order to improve your experience or measure audience.

For the purposes of this policy, and in accordance with délibération CNIL n° 2020-091 of 17 September 2020, the term "cookie" is understood in a broad sense and covers HTTP cookies, local storage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, Service Workers and any similar trackers capable of identifying a user or storing their choices between two visits.

The user is informed that during visits to https://www.web-agency.app, a cookie may be installed automatically in their browser. The user may disable this cookie through their browser settings, or via our consent banner.

2 — Cookies used on this site

The web-agency.app website uses three categories of cookies. No third-party cookie is placed without your prior consent, with the exception of strictly necessary cookies.

2.1 — Essential cookies (always active)

Necessary for the operation of the site. No consent required.

• Authentication & session: Firebase Auth (JWT token in local storage).
• Display preferences: theme, language, dark/light mode (local storage).
• Cart: cart items (local storage).
• Cookie consent: storage of your choices (key wa-cookie-consent, 13 months).

2.2 — Analytical cookies (optional — consent required)

• Google Analytics 4 — provider: Google LLC (United States).
  Anonymised audience measurement: number of visitors, pages viewed, duration, traffic source.
  Configuration: IP anonymised, Google Signals disabled, ad personalisation disabled — CNIL compliance.
  EU → United States transfer covered by the Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
  Retention: 13 months maximum.

2.3 — Anti-spam cookies (optional — consent required)

• Cloudflare Turnstile — provider: Cloudflare, Inc.
  Invisible anti-spam protection for forms (contact page). RGPD-friendly alternative to Google reCAPTCHA: no behavioural profiling, no advertising tracking.
  Data collected: technical session signals only (resolution, user-agent, mouse behaviour).
  Retention: session only, no persistent cookie.

No advertising, cross-site tracking or behavioural marketing cookies are placed on this site.

3 — Retention period

In accordance with délibération CNIL 2020-091, your consent choice is stored for a maximum duration of 13 months from its recording. Upon expiry of this period, your consent will again be requested.

Analytical cookies (Google Analytics 4) have a maximum lifetime of 13 months. Cloudflare Turnstile tokens expire at the end of your session.
